He proposed the launch of a national campaign titled <strong data-start=\"986\" data-end=\"1017\">\u201cIranian Girls and Health.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1751\"><strong data-start=\"1021\" data-end=\"1035\">Zahra Sadr<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1073\">Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit<\/strong> of the Association, expressed appreciation for the participation of representatives from the Iranian Girls\u2019 Association. She referred to previous meetings between the two organizations and noted that, in collaboration with the <strong data-start=\"1301\" data-end=\"1338\">Non-Communicable Diseases Network<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1340\" data-end=\"1364\">Women\u2019s Affairs Unit<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"1370\" data-end=\"1389\">the Association<\/strong>, plans are being developed to hold an <strong data-start=\"1428\" data-end=\"1464\">operational girls\u2019 service event<\/strong> focused on health and tobacco prevention. It was decided that both parties would conduct feasibility assessments and submit practical proposals to the designated working group. Dr. Masjedi emphasized the importance of <strong data-start=\"1683\" data-end=\"1704\">biweekly meetings<\/strong> to review the progress of these initiatives.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1753\" data-end=\"2049\"><strong data-start=\"1753\" data-end=\"1776\">Dr. Afsaneh Touseli<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"1778\" data-end=\"1813\">Professor at Alzahra University<\/strong>, noted the importance of girls\u2019 participation in the <strong data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1897\">Iranian Girls\u2019 Association<\/strong>, stating that such engagement prevents them from becoming susceptible to health-related risks and helps them become advocates for healthy lifestyles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2407\"><strong data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2071\">Fatemeh Ardabili<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2073\" data-end=\"2141\">Director of the Founding Board of the Iranian Girls\u2019 Association<\/strong>, presented an overview of the association\u2019s activities and announced plans to <strong data-start=\"2220\" data-end=\"2267\">train girls as specialized health advocates<\/strong>, emphasizing that <strong data-start=\"2286\" data-end=\"2308\">national bootcamps<\/strong> could serve as a creative platform for empowering girls in health promotion and tobacco control.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2409\" data-end=\"2648\"><strong data-start=\"2409\" data-end=\"2435\">Dr. Saeedeh Abbaszadeh<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2437\" data-end=\"2493\">Education Director of the Iranian Girls\u2019 Association<\/strong>, emphasized the importance of developing <strong data-start=\"2535\" data-end=\"2603\">educational content on women\u2019s and girls\u2019 health and tobacco use<\/strong> following comprehensive training programs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2650\" data-end=\"2975\"><strong data-start=\"2650\" data-end=\"2666\">Ava Moazzami<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"2731\">Director of Social Awareness and Development Events at Neon<\/strong>, proposed that, in light of upcoming sports exhibitions organized by the Iranian Girls\u2019 Association, a <strong data-start=\"2835\" data-end=\"2900\">dedicated booth on healthy living and girls\u2019 health awareness<\/strong> be established to highlight the organization\u2019s commitment to this field.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2977\" data-end=\"3245\">Finally, <strong data-start=\"2986\" data-end=\"3007\">Fatemeh Azim Beig<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"3009\" data-end=\"3058\">Expert at the Tobacco Control Research Center<\/strong>, highlighted the significant role of girls\u2019 activism in public health and suggested dedicating a section of upcoming initiatives specifically to <strong data-start=\"3204\" data-end=\"3242\">the issue of girls and tobacco use<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A joint meeting between the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit of the Iranian Anti-Tobacco Association and the Iranian Girls\u2019 Association was held to strengthen field cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at raising awareness among adolescent girls and promoting their active engagement in health promotion and tobacco-use prevention.
