Ardabil, Iran — A qualitative research project titled “Phenomenology of Women’s Lived Experience of Hookah Consumption in Iranian Cities: A Qualitative Study in Ardabil Province Cities” was presented and reviewed during a Research Council meeting at the Tobacco Control Research Center on Sunday, September 15, 2025.
Research Overview and Collaboration
The session, held at the Tobacco Control Research Center, featured a presentation of the proposed research by Dr. Taha Ashayeri, a faculty member at the Mohaghegh Ardabili University. Dr. Ashayeri detailed the planned research methodology and outlined potential avenues for collaborative efforts between the participating institutions.
Members of the Research Council provided valuable feedback and constructive suggestions concerning the research design and execution.
This collaborative study will be undertaken with the joint participation of the Industry and Society Unit at Mohaghegh Ardabili University and the Tobacco Control Research Center.
