The forty-third session in the series of strategic meetings organized by the Academy of Arts will focus on “The Depiction of Tobacco Use in Home Entertainment Productions.” The event is scheduled to be held on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
According to the Public Relations Office of Jam’iat, the Research Department of the Academy of Arts and the Strategic Studies Office will jointly hold this forty-third strategic meeting, dedicated to exploring the representation of tobacco consumption in domestic visual productions.
In this session, Dr. Afsaneh Touseli will deliver a lecture analyzing how smoking is portrayed in audiovisual works and discussing its cultural and social implications.
The meeting will take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at the Golestan Hall of Art, located at No. 1552, Third Floor, Vali-e Asr Avenue, below Taleghani Crossroad, Tehran.
