Tobacco Control Research Center Secures 22nd Ranking Among Independent National Research Institutions in 2025

Tehran, Iran — The Tobacco Control Research Center of the Iranian Anti-Smoking Association (IASA) has been ranked 22nd among 39 independent and private research centers in the annual assessment conducted by the Iranian Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education for the year 1404 (2025).

The annual evaluation, overseen by the Ministry of Health’s Deputy for Research and Technology, serves as the standard benchmarking tool for clinical, biomedical, and independent research institutes nationwide. The centers are evaluated against stringent performance indicators, including:
