Dr. Masjedi, secretary-general of IATA while acknowledging this great step for the safeguarding public health, said: now that the parliament is working on reviewing next year’s government budget, serious consideration to levy a reasonable tax on tobacco could be a significant aid to the country’s economy and also promotion of the public health.
