
Tehran, Iran — A session of the Research Council of the Tobacco Control Research Center was held on Sunday, September 15, 2025, to review the final reports of the PAD Program, the PAD Shopkeepers Initiative, and the PAD Program Control Group. The meeting was attended Initiative**, and the PAD Program Control Group. The meeting was attended by Dr. Mohammad Reza Masjedi, Secretary-General of the Association, members of the Research Council, and the program’s executive managers.
Session Structure
According of scientific and analytical reports on three distinct research projects. Principal investigators presented the full implementation process, key findings, and notable research insights for each initiative.
The Research Council members and PAD Program executives subsequently engaged in a structured discussion, offering their perspectives and recommendations regarding the programs’ outcomes and the overall trajectory of the Research Center’s activities.
Evaluation of the 2025–26 Academic Year
Importantly, the PAD Program for the 2025–2026 academic year has been subjected to ongoing research scrutiny from the outset. Concurrent with its operational implementation, a comprehensive scientific-analytical assessment was prepared, and its findings were formally presented during this session.
